Photos and images you upload to create your artifact
Personal information such as your name, email address, and shipping address when you place an order
Payment information — processed securely by Stripe; we do not store card numbers
Story and moment details you provide to guide the design process

We also automatically collect certain technical information, including your browser type, IP address, and how you interact with our site.

2. How We Use Your Information

To create and fulfill your artifact order
To communicate with you about your order status
To improve our AI models and generation quality (only with anonymized data)
To send you updates about your artifact's progress

3. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:

Stripe — for payment processing
Google (Firebase) — for secure data storage and hosting
Postmark — for transactional email delivery
Our manufacturing partners — solely to fulfill your physical order

4. Your Photos

Photos you upload are used exclusively to create your sculptural artifact. We store them securely in Google Cloud Storage. We do not use your photos for marketing or share them publicly without your explicit consent.

5. Data Retention

We retain your order information for up to 7 years for legal and accounting purposes. Draft data (before checkout) is retained for 90 days. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@arkive.co.

7. Cookies

We use local browser storage (localStorage and sessionStorage) to maintain your session across pages. We do not use third-party tracking cookies.
